The Birthday Presents

We had something to celebrate last week, me turning 19! Yep, I turned 19 on Wednesday April 18th to be exact. It's my last year as a "teenager", I better enjoy this year before the big 2-0. That being said, I don't wanna get older! Seriously, I feel like some kind of pressure is resting on my shoulders to grow up and do "grown-up stuff ". I just wanna stay young and have fun :).

The best thing about birthdays are the presents, right? I'm not such a material girl, but a birthday without presents is like french fries without mayonnaise. Something's missing, you know?
So tadaaaa, here are some of my birthday gifts:

Flora by Gucci: Gracious tuberose

Got this beautiful gift from my beloved mommy. It's been quite a while since I bought a new perfume, for the simple reason that they all smell bad according to me (okay, not all). Until I scented this fragrance. Scents of tuberose, peach, violet leaf and notes of orange blossom in just one bottle. Smells DIVINE to me! Thanks mommy!

Swatch New Gent Purple Rebel watch

Tik tok goes the clock! Got this present for my awesome daddy. He's has a thing for watches, you know (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree). I really love it, except for one thing: I hear it ticking all.the.time.. It drives me crazy! I even hear it when I don't wear it, which is like super weird. PARANOIA, moi? Is it just me, or do people with a Swatch also experience this problem? Eventhough, merci beaucoup dad!

 

This one's from my beautiful sister! It's a gift card that contains 40 euro to go shopping in Zara. I'm soooo happy with it! Zara is like fashion heaven for budget girls, like me. THANK YOU!!!!!

Last but not least: a little surprise on my birthday. I randomly visit the H&M store in Kuurne Shopping (I almost never go there) and I finally found The Golden Sweater, woohoo! Paying only 10 euros for such a fashionable piece is like AMAZING! Mommy gave it to me which makes it even more amazing.

So to conclude, my 19th birthday was pretty good. Also thanks to my dear friends who completely surprised me with their lovely gifts!
